Services
Two families of work. No packages named after metals.
Either we fix the site you have, or we replace it. Everything below is scoped as deliverables you can check off, not hours you cannot verify, and each one lists what it does not include — usually the more useful half.
Build work lives on its own page: how we build websites, and why static beats WordPress when the reader is a machine. The three engagements below are for sites that already exist.
01 · one-off · 5 working days
Structural audit
$750 fixedThe full version of what the free checker gestures at, done by hand across your whole site rather than one page. You get a document you could hand to any developer.
You get
- Every template audited for structure, schema, heading order and extractability
- Your actual AI Overview exposure measured from Search Console — which queries, how much traffic, informational versus transactional split
- Crawl and rendering check: what a crawler sees versus what a browser sees
- A prioritised fix list, each item with the reasoning and the expected size of effect
- A 45-minute call to argue with the findings
Not included
- Implementation — this is diagnosis
- Content writing
- Keyword research as a standalone deliverable
02 · one-off · 3-4 weeks
Fix-it sprint
$2,400 fixedThe audit, then the changes actually made. Most sites do not need an ongoing relationship — they need a backlog cleared once by someone who knows which items matter.
You get
- Everything in the audit
- Schema implemented and validated across every template
- Your top 10 pages restructured answer-first: opening rewritten, headings resequenced, key facts moved into tables
- Technical fixes shipped — metadata, canonicals, robots rules, crawl waste, render-blocking
- Before-and-after measurement, and a baseline you can keep tracking without me
Not included
- New content production at volume
- Link building
- Anything requiring a rebuild of your CMS
03 · monthly · 30-day rolling
Ongoing retainer
$2,900 / monthFor sites where content ships continuously and the structural work has to keep up. Rolling monthly, no minimum term. If a month produces nothing worth reporting I will tell you and suggest pausing.
You get
- Four to six pages produced or rebuilt per month, written answer-first
- Citation and visibility monitoring across Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Copilot
- Schema maintained as templates change
- A monthly report that leads with what did not work
- Direct access — you are talking to the person doing the work
Not included
- Paid media
- Social or email marketing
- Guaranteed rankings or guaranteed citations — nobody can honestly sell those
04 · when fixing is the wrong answer
Rebuild
Some sites cannot be optimised into shape. A client-rendered React site serves crawlers an empty shell; a theme with fifteen plugins carries more overhead than content. In those cases the honest recommendation is replacement, and the audit fee comes off the build.
Side by side

For context on the rates: AEO retainers surveyed at $2,000-$15,000 per month in 2026, and anything under $1,500 is generally rebranded SEO. The 3-4% AI Overview trigger rate on transactional queries is from aggregated 2026 trigger-rate analysis.
Who should not hire me. If your site scores above 80 on the free checker, the remaining structural gains are small and you would be paying me to polish. If your traffic is almost entirely transactional queries, AI Overviews trigger on 3-4% of those and your exposure is minimal. And if you need volume content production more than structural work, a writer is better value than an auditor.
